What customers say about Tympa clinics
Just recently visited for a wax removal and practitioner Kadisha Walters was really helpful and friendly, made me feel so comfortable and explained throughly the procedure. Felt like she really cared and would definitely visit again.
- Alison, Hidden Hearing
I was very impressed with the treatment I received, having my ears cleared from a hard buildup of wax and from my hearing test. The practitioners were very thorough and efficient and I had complete confidence in what they were doing. And I really appreciated their friendly, unhurried and caring attitude.
- Ms M Evans, Boots Hearingcare
Natalie at the Victoria Medical Centre in Eastbourne provided an excellent service explaining what she was doing and carrying out ear wax removal expertly.
- James, The Hearing Care Partnership
I can recommend Dee from Hidden Hearing as a practitioner to have your wax removed. She is extremely friendly, very professional and so courteous. The video before and after and the hearing test at the end was also a bonus. The clinic was very clean, bright and easy to find.
- Jean, Hidden Hearing
This was a good experience from the start. Seen on time by attentive and helpful audiologists.
Comprehensive descriptions of the options were provided.
- Mr J Williams, Boots Hearingcare
Very happy with the wax removal experience with Tracy Vaughan in Lichfield. Quite high tech and I was able to see before and after images. Tracy is very good at putting you at ease and gives a truly professional service.

Expert Opinion

The great thing about Tympa is it brings together the ability to see patient locally to perform microsuction and then take images of the ear canal and tympanic membrane. The images are uploaded onto the system where they're reviewed by a TympaHealth audiologist. If they feel they need to escalate it, it will come through to myself or one of my colleagues, we will have a look at the images and then we will give a treatment plan.
Dr. Surojit Pal, ENT Consultant
ENT Consultants can log onto the Tympa Panel and review the patients data, as if we were seeing the patient in clinic. A large number of patients never need to come and see an ENT, they have their hearing test and are either reassured or redirected to hearing aid services, and those with more suspicious otoscopic findings, we can treat accordingly.
- Dr. Joseph Manjaly, Consultant Otologist, UCLH
The biggest problem we have in secondary care at the moment, which is hospital based medicine, are the waits. Patients often wait more than 1 to 2 years for an appointment, plus we have patients who've been backlogged because of covid. Now to reduce waiting times for patients, it's all about having diagnostics based in the community, where patients have better access to care.
